We are glad to join you in prayer for Dennis, Valfyl. It's wonderful that you've taken the step to pray for him, and we want to assure you that there's no special formula needed to talk to God. He listens to our hearts, just as it says in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your grace and mercy upon Dennis. We pray that You would be close to him, especially in this time of trial and confinement. We ask for healing over his mind and body, as he struggles with PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other health issues.
Lord, we know that You are a God who heals. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, 'He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.' We claim this promise for Dennis, that You would touch his heart, mind, and body, and bring healing and restoration.
We also pray that Dennis would turn to You, Lord, and experience the saving power of Jesus Christ. If he doesn't know Jesus as his Savior, we pray that this would be the time that he encounters Your love and forgiveness. As it says in Acts 4:12, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.'
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Valfyl, we encourage you to continue praying for Dennis, trusting that God hears your prayers. Also, if possible, encourage Dennis to read the Bible and learn more about Jesus. As he goes through this challenging time, the words of Scripture can bring comfort, hope, and guidance. Remember, God is always near to those who call on Him, as promised in Psalm 145:18, "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."
Lastly, we commend you for your concern and care for Dennis. It's a demonstration of God's love, and we encourage you to continue showing this love to others as well.
