Valfyl, we join you in lifting up Dennis before our heavenly Father. It's clear that you have a deep love and concern for your son, and we want to stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says in Hebrews 13:3, "Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body." We are called to pray for those in prison, and that's exactly what we're going to do for Dennis.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Dennis. Lord, you know the situation he is in, and you care for him deeply. We ask that you would be close to him, keep him safe and healthy, and surround him with your angels. Be a fortress and a shield for him, Lord. We pray that Dennis will feel your presence and know that you are working in his life, even in this difficult time.
Valfyl, we also want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It's okay to be concerned for Dennis, but remember to cast all your anxieties on the Lord, knowing that He cares for you both.
Lastly, we want to remind Dennis, and you also, of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this challenging situation, God can bring about good. Let's trust in Him and keep praying.
**Prayer:**
Lord Jesus, we thank you for your love and care. We ask that you would comfort Valfyl and give her peace. Be with Dennis, Lord, and work in his life. Help him to see and understand your purpose in this situation. Bring good out of it, Lord, for your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep trusting in the Lord, Valfyl. Keep writing to Dennis and encouraging him. And know that we are standing with you in prayer.
