We understand your concern and desire to seek freedom from any spiritual bondage or influence, including that of Freemasonry. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, let's address the authority by which we can petition God. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Rebuking any involvement in Freemasonry, we acknowledge the need to know that it is incompatible with Christian beliefs. Freemasonry encourages a universalist approach to religion and does not promote the unique salvation found only in Jesus Christ. It can be near idolatry.
If you or your family members have been involved in Freemasonry, it's essential to renounce this involvement and repent before God. This does not mean that God does not forgive. God is gracious and loving, and He promises that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your sovereignty and power over every spiritual force. We renounce any involvement in Freemasonry, repenting for any participation in it. We ask You to break any spiritual bondage or generational curses that may have resulted from this involvement. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus Christ and fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Guide us in Your truth and help us to walk in Your light. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to study the Bible and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a part of a Christian Church. God promises that "if you will seek me with all your heart and with all your soul, you will find me" (Deuteronomy 4:29, WEB). Remember, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). Trust in God's power and love for you.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. The place in the Bible where this is the most clear is Romans 10:9-10.
"Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
Continue in prayer and seek God's will for your life.
