We understand your concern for your mother, Karen, and we join with you in prayer for her deliverance and healing in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Karen. We ask that you heal her from her struggle with prayerlessness and disbelief. We pray that you would draw her closer to you and that she would come to know the love and peace that can only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We also pray for healing from the church hurt she has experienced, that she would find forgiveness and restoration in her faith journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It is important to remember that God desires for all to come to repentance and have a personal relationship with Him. In 2 Peter 3:9, it is written, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
We encourage you, Lerirre, to continue to pray fervently for your mother and to share the love of Christ with her. Remember, as it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Keep in mind that church hurt is real, but forgiveness is a vital part of the healing process. Encourage Karen to forgive, as it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Lastly, we leave you with the reminder of the promise in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." It is through the wounds of Jesus that Karen can find true healing and restoration. Trust in the power of prayer and the love of God.
