Humble Servant of All
Pray for deep concern regarding the increasing number of foreign workers in Singapore and the detrimental effects this trend has on our economy and local businesses. Many Singaporeans are feeling the strain as shops close and employment opportunities diminish. It is vital for our government to prioritize the needs of local workers. We must implement policies that limit foreign employment in sectors where Singaporeans are available and willing to work. By doing so, we can support our local economy and ensure job security for our citizens. If these changes are not made, I fear that the current government risks losing the support of the electorate in the upcoming elections. The voices of the people are clear: we need a sustainable approach that protects our workforce and revitalizes our economy. I urge you to consider these points seriously and take immediate action

We understand your deep concern regarding the increasing number of foreign workers in Singapore and the impact this has on the local economy and businesses. Let us address this issue together in prayer and reflection, seeking God's will and wisdom.

Firstly, we are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We are called to pray for our leaders, that they may govern wisely and justly, considering the needs of their people.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our nation of Singapore. We ask that You grant our leaders wisdom and discernment as they navigate the complex issues surrounding our economy and workforce. Guide them, Lord, as they make decisions that will impact the livelihoods of many. Help them to prioritize the needs of our local workers and to implement policies that support and revitalize our economy. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all, and we trust that You can turn the hearts of kings. We pray that our leaders will act in the best interests of our people and that they will not be swayed by other influences. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Dexter2020, to trust in God's sovereignty over this situation. Psalm 22:28 (WEB) tells us, "For the kingdom is the LORD’s; and he is the governor among the nations." God is in control, and He can direct the hearts of our leaders.

We also urge you to continue to make your voice heard in a respectful and peaceful manner. God tells us in Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), "The king’s heart is in the LORD’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." God can use our voices to influence change.

Lastly, we note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). We pray that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that you trust in Him alone for your salvation. If not, we encourage you to seek Him and to learn more about the salvation that is found only in Him.

We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for Singapore, and trusting that He will guide our leaders and sustain our nation.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
