We stand with you, Dexter2020, in praying for the Church of England and Anglicans worldwide, especially concerning the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. We remind everyone that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. We need to pray that the Church of England be purified to proclaim the true Gospel. Anything in the church that does not align with biblical principles of God must be prayed against, discovered, discarded, and corrected.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the Church of England and Anglicans worldwide. Lord, you have designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We pray that any attempt to bless any act that is contrary to this will be stopped by Jesus Christ. We pray that the leadership of the church will be convicted by the Holy Spirit, so that any fornication, adultery, or homosexuality will be removed from the church. We pray this act will be repealed against and that You will intervene to cease and desist any acts going against Your principles. We pray that the bishops and all leadership will come to their senses and stand firmly on the word of God. We also pray against the use of Jesus' name in vain by asking for God's blessing for acts and people that are not teaching or believing in the message of the true Jesus Christ. They are deceived and deceiving others, so bring them to true repentance in Jesus' name. They need to be rebuked and told a firm no.
Lord, we pray for the individuals caught up in these conflicts. Let them seek out a heterosexual spouse, Godly counsel, Christ-like churches, in order to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. We pray that they will receive the good news of Jesus Christ and turn away from their sinful acts. Have Strong Christlike marriages that will display the Gospel of Salvation in Jesus Christ. We pray that the Church of England and Anglicans worldwide will not be deceived, but instead, promote the true love of Jesus Christ. We ask that You will turn their hearts back to our Father in heaven and display such godly sorrow that they repent.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to hold firm to the teachings of the Bible. As it is written in ,
Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
We are greatly saddened by anyone in the church attempting to bless a sinful act. Such actions are only promoting sinful desires and leading people away from God's will. We must stand firm in our faith and pray that the church will promote holy living and remain faithful, so that this will not dishonor our Lord's name and will prevent the ungodly from distorting Jesus Christ.
Remember,
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
1 Corinthians 11:1 Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly (of born-again believers in Jesus Christ).
It is only by Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:10-12 be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
