Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brothers and sisters in India who are facing persecution for their faith in Christ. We pray for your divine protection and strength to be upon them during this difficult time. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 5:10-12, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Lord, we ask that you would expose and bring to justice those who betray their faith and support violence against Christians. We pray for their hearts to be transformed by your love and for them to come to a true understanding of who you are. Help them to see the truth of your Gospel and the peace that it brings.
We also pray for a change in the biased attitudes and actions towards the Christian community in India. May your Spirit move in the hearts of those in authority and in society to promote fairness, justice, and religious freedom for all. Your Word reminds us in Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your ability to bring about change. We ask that you would strengthen the faith of our brothers and sisters in India, that they may stand firm in their belief and continue to shine your light in the midst of darkness. Grant them courage, wisdom, and discernment as they navigate these challenging times.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
