James, we understand your desire for blessings and a settling down in 2025, and we will pray with you about this. However, we want to remind you that God uses all circumstances, including pain, trials, and suffering, to draw us closer to Him and to refine our character. As it says in Romans 5:3-4 WEB, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character, and character, hope."

First, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in the name of Jesus that we are saved. We should end prayers with 'in Jesus name' to show that we are coming to God in Jesus's name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Regarding settling down, we believe that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As the request is vague, we have to address several items. We assume you are not married and are looking to get married. If you are living with someone outside of marriage, this is fornication. If you are not married and looking to move in with someone, this is also fornication. Sex outside marriage is a sin. This is a controversial subject but it is what the Bible teaches. We read in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.'"

We encourage you to pursue a godly spouse and a marriage that honors God. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up James to You. Lord, we ask for Your blessings upon his life in 2025. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom in his journey, especially regarding settling down with a godly spouse. Help him to grow in character and hope through all circumstances. We rebuke any notion of entering a relationship with someone who is not a Christian Believer. We rebuke any notion of having sex before or outside marriage. If he is in that situation, we pray that he will be convicted to stop sinning. We rebuke any notion of same sex relationships.

We want to remind you that God is always by your side, even in the midst of pain, trials, and suffering. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), trusting that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister or brother in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you. As we approach 2025, we are fervently praying for God's abundant blessings to be upon you. We are claiming God to do a good work on your life, that in Christ we can say to every pain, trial, and suffering be gone in Jesus Name; and we are praying for God's perfect will to be done in your life, and if it is God's will, for you to settling down in 2025 according to His divine purpose.

If you have seen God's hand at work in your life regarding these faith goals and hopes, please share a praise report with our community and let us all know. Just as a good father loves to give good gifts to his children and see their delight, our heavenly Father loves to see our faithful hearts be exultant with thanksgiving. Conversely if your request do not seem to have not yet come to fruition, please do not be disheartened. God's timing is always perfect, and His ways are higher than ours.
