Let us come together and pray for Blake, as Jayaenae has requested. We are told that Blake is Maria's boss and that he is in an ungodly relationship. First, let us address the issue of his salvation and his need for deliverance.
"For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18 WEB)
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Blake's soul. We ask that You remove the veil from his eyes, that he may see the truth of the Gospel. Grant him the gift of faith and repentance, that he may turn from his sins and be saved. We bind the prince of the power of the air who has blinded him, and we ask that Your light would shine in his heart, revealing the reality of eternity.
Now, let us address the ungodly relationship Blake is involved in. The Bible tells us, "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You convict Blake of the sin in his life. If he is involved in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, or in a homosexual relationship, we pray that You would show him the error of his ways and give him the strength to turn from it. Sever the ungodly ties in his life, Lord, and bring godly influences into his life.
Lastly, we pray for Blake's priorities. "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" (Matthew 16:26 WEB)
Father, we ask that You would change Blake's heart. Show him that life is not about making money, but about serving You. Give him a hunger and a thirst for righteousness, that he may seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.
Jayaenae, we commend you for your fervent prayers for Blake. Continue to intercede for him, and trust that God is working in his life. Remember, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 WEB)
Let us all pray that Blake would come to repentance and faith in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we can be saved.
