Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our anonymous friend who is struggling with the temptation of pornography. Lord, we acknowledge that this is a battle that many face in our modern world, and we ask for your strength and guidance to overcome this struggle.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that you will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and that you will provide a way of escape. We pray that you would open our friend's eyes to see the destructive nature of pornography and grant them the desire to turn away from it.
Father, we ask for your healing touch upon their mind and emotions. We pray against the depression that they are experiencing in their work and life. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would bring comfort and peace to their heart, and that you would guide them to find fulfillment and joy in you.
Lord, we also pray for their work situation. We ask for wisdom and discernment in making decisions regarding their career. May they find purpose and satisfaction in their work, and may you open doors of opportunity for them.
We lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our cries. We trust in your faithfulness and ask for your grace to overcome this struggle and find true freedom in Christ.
