Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking your guidance and strength in their current situation. Lord, we lift up their anxiety and ask that you grant them peace and calmness in their heart and mind. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, through prayer and supplication, to let our requests be made known to you. We ask that you help ### cast their anxieties upon you, knowing that you care for them.
Father, we pray for wisdom and clarity concerning ###'s job situation. They have been presented with a great opportunity at another place, something they have prayed for. However, they are now overwhelmed with fear and anxiety about leaving their current job. We ask that you grant them discernment and understanding, that they may make the right decision according to your will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in you with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge you in all our ways, and you will direct our paths. We pray that you guide ### in this decision-making process, giving them the confidence to step out in faith.
Lord, we acknowledge that ### is feeling under constant spiritual attack at night regarding this matter. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, and anxiety that may be trying to hinder them. Your Word assures us in James 4:7 that when we submit ourselves to you and resist the devil, he will flee from us. We pray for your protection over ###'s mind and emotions, that they may experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Finally, Lord, we ask that you strengthen ###'s faith and trust in you. Help them to remember that you are their ever-present help in times of trouble and that you will see them through every challenge they face. May they find comfort in knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
