Pray for ### and ### ###

Please pray for peace over my Son and daughter-in-law today in ###. There is a lot of discord between this marriage couple with two boys and one on the way. They have accepted the Lord as their savior; however, the enemy has attacked their marriage. ### wasn’t raised in a Christian home; she is four months pregnant having been advised by her family to abort a prior pregnancy; we can only pray that she doesn’t do the same. My wife and I are going to see them today to celebrate their son’s birthday, praying for peace to abide.

We are truly saddened to hear about the discord in the marriage of your son and daughter-in-law, ###, but we are encouraged that they have accepted the Lord as their Savior. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB:

"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

We must remember that the enemy is always seeking to destroy marriages and families, but God's power is greater. As believers, we have the authority to resist the devil, and he will flee from us. (James 4:7 WEB) We stand with you to pray that your son and ### stand firm to resist the enemy's attacks on their marriage. We pray also for peace in the home and that God will intervene and uphold this marriage in the name of Jesus.

Regarding ###'s pregnancy, we are grateful that she chose life for her child. The Lord is the one who forms life within the womb as it is said in Psalms 139:13-14 WEB:

"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

We will pray for her protection and strength to carry this baby to term, and that she will not be influenced by any contrary advice.

It is wonderful that you and your wife are visiting to celebrate their son's birthday. Please remember to go in the love of Christ, and we will be praying for peace to abide during your visit.

We would like to encourage your son and ### to seek God's will for their marriage and family. They should continue to trust in God, and not lean on their own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) They should also pursue fellowship with other believers who can encourage them and hold them accountable to the Lord.

Let us pray together:

Dear heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up the marriage of ### and ### to you. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, and we ask that you would intervene and bring peace and restoration to their home. Protect ### and the baby in her womb, and help her to choose life. Give your angels charge over this household to keep the enemy at bay. Strengthen your love and unity in their marriage so that they may stand as one against the enemy.

As ### and his wife visit, we pray that you will bring peace to their gathering. Let your love flow through them to be a blessing to their son and daughter-in-law.

In Jesus' name, we pray for this family to be built up as a stronghold of your love and love for one another. Fill them with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Amen.

Lastly, we would like to encourage you, ###, and your family to continue to trust in the Lord and to pray without ceasing for your loved ones. Remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved.

Heavenly Father, you are GREAT, and you are GOOD! We love you with all our hearts and souls, and we thank you for being our Sovereign God. Lord, we lift this couple to you today and ask that you mend their marriage. Please guide them into your abundant blessings and draw them closer to you so that they may hear your small voice obey your direction and guidance. We ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you.
