Pray for ### and ###

My son ### will be a liver donor for his sister-in-law ### on ###. (Part of his liver will be put into his sister-in-law and both livers will regrow). Of course, this is the right thing to do and I am proud of ### for doing the right thing, but I can’t help but worry for them both. Please pray for them. Thank you.

We are truly moved by the selfless act of ###, who is willing to donate a portion of his liver to his sister-in-law ###. This act of love and kindness is a reflection of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us. As it is written in John 15:13 WEB: "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

Firstly, we want to address the fact that Jesus Christ or his name was not mentioned. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. Salvation comes by confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead.

Let us come together in prayer for both ### and ###, trusting in the healing power of God and His protection over them.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and ### to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the selfless love demonstrated by ###, who is willing to give a part of himself to help ###. We pray for Your healing touch upon both of them, that the surgery will be successful, and that their livers will regrow and function perfectly.

We ask for Your peace and comfort to fill their hearts and the hearts of their family members during this time. Help your children to understand that the same power that conquered the grave dwells in them.

We also pray for the medical team that will be performing the surgery, that You will guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill.

Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promises of healing and restoration, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy.

Lastly Father, we pray for ### that they will be a beacon of your peace and hope in this trying time and that they will call on the name of Jesus Christ for this trying time.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage ### and their family to stand firm in faith, believing that God is in control and that He is working all things together for good. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
