We understand your concern and will fervently intercede for ### and ###. Let us begin by addressing the core issue with biblical guidance.
The Bible teaches us that we should not elevate anything above God, as it can become an idol. In 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 (WEB), it is written: "About eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is no other God but one. For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, as there are many 'gods' and many 'lords,' yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we are for him. One Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him."
Moreover, we are cautioned against judging others based on what they eat or drink. Romans 14:1-4 (WEB) states: "Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. One person has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of ### and ###. Lord, we pray that any idolatry in their lives, including their strict adherence to veganism, which has led them to impose their beliefs on others and alter Your Word, be revealed and removed. Help them to understand that Your ways are higher than our ways, and that Your Word is unchanging and perfect.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for ###, that he may cease from judging others and calling them evil based on their eating habits. Help him to see the beam in his own eye, and to recognize the danger of altering Your Word to fit his own agenda. We pray that both ### and ### will have a true encounter with You, Lord Jesus, and that their hearts will be transformed by Your love and truth.
We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is by His name alone that we have access to God and salvation. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for them, and to share God's love and truth with them in a gentle and respectful manner. In 2 Timothy 2:24-26 (WEB), we are reminded: "The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle toward all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will."
