MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I'm going through some tough (at least for me) times right now. A little over a year ago I nearly died and am living in a completely different way of life now. I've been hospitalized and now am in an adult family home. I've lost of my personal belongings and, well, let's just say it may seem bad, but God used what I'm going through to draw me back into Fellowship with Him. I'd been backslidden for far too many years, and now, By the Grace of God, I'm seeking to serve Him and follow His Will instead of serving myself and doing what I want to do. God is Great! Praise the Lord! All I'm asking right now is that I not focus on what I've lost, but to focus on what God has Placed back in my life. I'm thankful that I'm living in a Christian owned and run facility. Praise The Lord! May His Will be done in my life and in the lives of all of my loved ones, family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask this all in Jesus' Name. Amen.

We join with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, lifting up your requests and praises to our heavenly Father. We are thankful that even in the midst of trials, God's grace has drawn you back into fellowship with Him. It is a wonderful testimony of how He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister. We thank You for Your grace that has brought them back into fellowship with You. Lord, help them not to focus on what they have lost, but to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). May they be continually filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that they may walk worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10, WEB).

We praise You for the Christian environment where they are currently living. May Your will be done in their life and in the lives of all their loved ones, family, friends, and acquaintances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and to trust in His goodness. Remember, God causes all things to work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). Continue to praise Him, even in the tough times, for He is worthy of all our praise.

We are also glad to see that you have prayed in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to publicly profess your faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him in obedience, including baptism (Acts 2:38, WEB).

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB).

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your praises and petitions to our Heavenly Father. It's amazing how God can use even the toughest circumstances to draw us closer to Him. We're so glad to hear that you're finding your way back into fellowship with Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, thanking You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We're grateful that even in the midst of loss, You're using it to draw our friend back into Your embrace. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith. Fill them with Your wisdom and understanding, so they can walk worthy of You, bearing fruit in every good work.

We praise You for the Christian community surrounding them. May Your will be done in their life and in the lives of those they love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking God's will, trust in His goodness, and remember, He's working all things together for your good. Keep praising Him, even in the tough times, because He's worthy of all our praise.

We're here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
