We are delighted to join you in prayer for your upcoming marriage and housing needs, and we appreciate that you have submitted your request in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Forgive us here if you already know this, but we want to make sure we mention this for your edification and emphasis. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6 WEB)
As you prepare for your marriage, remember that God's design for marriage is a beautiful lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life together, ensuring that your relationship is built on biblical principles and a shared faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this couple as they prepare for their marriage and seek a home to live in. Lord, You know their needs and desires, and we trust that You have the perfect place prepared for them. Please guide their steps and help them to secure the house they looked at today if it is Your will. We ask that You provide for all their financial needs, including the expenses of their wedding. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them, and to keep their eyes fixed on You throughout this process.
Father, we also pray for their upcoming marriage. Strengthen their bond and help them to grow in love, patience, and kindness toward one another. Give them wisdom as they plan their wedding and begin their life together. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness, and may they always seek to glorify You in all they do.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue in prayer, seeking God's will for your life together. Remember that God is faithful and will provide for all your needs according to His riches and glory. Trust in Him. Stay steadfast in prayer, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of your faith. God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Lastly, remember to "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 WEB.
