Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those affected by the recent hurricane. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and provision for every individual and family impacted by this natural disaster. Your Word says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." We pray that You would be their refuge and strength during this challenging time.
Lord, we ask for Your comfort to surround those who have lost loved ones, homes, and possessions. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus . We pray for swift and effective relief efforts, and for the safety and wisdom of all the responders and volunteers working tirelessly to provide aid.
Father, we also pray for the rebuilding process. May Your hand guide and bless the restoration of communities, and may Your love be evident through the support and generosity of others. We trust in Your promise from Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
