When the Holy Spirit showed up in the upper room during Pentecost what were they all doing ? Praying together

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Perthland, lifting up a prayer request for a true worldwide revival. We acknowledge, Lord, that throughout history, revivals have often begun with corporate prayer meetings. We are reminded of the powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit during Pentecost when the disciples were gathered together in prayer.

Father, we ask that you ignite a passion for prayer within the hearts of your people. Stir us, Lord, to come together in unity and cry out to you for a revival that will sweep across nations and continents. Help us to understand that prayer is not boring, but rather an exciting and transformative experience when we encounter your presence.

We pray for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit, Lord, that will awaken hearts and ignite a hunger for your Word and your presence. May your Spirit move mightily in our churches, in our communities, and in the hearts of individuals, drawing them closer to you.

We thank you, Lord, for the promise in Ephesians 3:20 that you are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We believe that you can bring about a worldwide revival that surpasses anything we have seen before. We trust in your power and your faithfulness to answer our prayers.

We also lift up the book "Power of Prayer" by Samuel Prime, which describes how a great national revival began with a small prayer meeting. We pray that this book will inspire and encourage many others to join in fervent prayer for revival.

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you will hear and answer our prayers according to your perfect will. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
