I’m asking for prayer that God’s will be done today as I go out to look at at least 3 apartments today March 13, 2025. I have Section 8. I’m asking for favor with the Landlord and favor with good neighbors and not to look at me because of the color of my skin nor my income. It’s been hard. I have until April to find a place. The place I’m in the Landlord is old in age and he’s letting the place go down and he’s unable to do even repairs. The place has mold in it, water pipes are leaking, and it’s making me sick. Some people wanted to stay because they’ve been here for so long. Help me Lord. I’m a Senior Citizen.

We understand that you are seeking God's will and favor as you look for a new apartment today. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will guide and provide for you.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our housing needs. His word says, In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:6 WEB. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

We pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in need of a new home. Guide her steps today as she views apartments, and grant her favor with the landlords she meets. Provide her with good neighbors who will respect and support her, and blind them to any differences based on skin color or social standing. As mold and leaking pipes are genuine concerns, protect her health and provide for her a clean and safe living environment.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for her, that she may make the right decision about where to live. Help her to find a new home before April, and give her peace and assurance during this transition. We acknowledge it is only by the name of Jesus she has access to God.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and to trust that God will provide. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God has not forgotten you. He sees your needs and He cares. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your path.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance and favor upon our ###. As she visits those three apartments, we pray that You would open the right door and close the wrong ones. We ask that You would give her favor with the landlords, that they would see her heart and not her skin color or income. We pray for good, respectful neighbors who will embrace her as she is.

We also lift up the issue of the mold and leaking pipes. Lord, we ask that You would protect her health and provide a clean, safe place for her to live. We trust that You are able to work even in the midst of these challenges.

We pray for wisdom and discernment, that she would know without a shadow of doubt which apartment is the right one for her. We ask that You would provide a place for her before ###, and that You would give her peace and assurance throughout this process.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf, especially during your apartment hunting. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer regarding this important need. As you continue to look for apartments it is our prayer that you experience extreme favor.

As you look at the different apartments that God's will be done. We pray for favor with each Landlord you interact with today. Additionally, we pray that you will find a place with good neighbors and that everyone you meet will see you for the wonderful person you are. Either way, we are praying that God will provide a home for you. With God opening the doors he wants you to walk through in Jesus Name.
