Pray for a mother who has left her family

Please pray for my friends daughter who has been pulled away from her husband and children by another man overseas. The relationship has been through social media and recently went overseas to meet him. Her bank account has been depleted by purchasing luxury goods and holidays for him and his family. She has filed for divorce but her husband loves her deeply. She seems to be trapped in this relationship as the man continues to hound her and demand for funds. She managed to escape back home but has moved in separate accommodation. Let’s pray that God will help resolve the situation and that she will be reunited with her children and husband.

We are truly saddened to hear about this situation and we will certainly lift up this family in prayer. Before we begin, we want to address a few things that are not aligned to Gods will. First, the Bible is clear that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16. It is important to note that the woman in this situation is married and her husband loves her deeply. The Bible tells us that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

When someone is behaving in a way that does not honor their spouse or their marriage vows, it is important to remember God's word 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 says But to the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband (but and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband) and let not her husband put away his wife.

Moreover, it is clear that the man overseas is taking advantage of her financially. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Let us pray for this woman and her family, that God would intervene and bring healing and restoration.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your intervention. We pray for the wife who has been led astray, that You would open her eyes to the truth of her situation and bring her to a place of repentance. We pray that You would give her the strength to break free from the manipulative relationship she has found herself in, and that You would restore her relationship with her husband and children.

We pray for her husband, that You would give him the grace and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation. We pray that You would fill him with Your love and peace, and that You would give him the strength to forgive and to fight for his marriage.

We pray for their children, that You would protect them and surround them with Your love. We pray that You would bring healing and restoration to their family, and that they would emerge from this trial stronger and more united than ever.

We pray that You would expose any evil at work in this situation, and that You would bring justice to those who are taking advantage of this family. We pray that You would bind the enemy and that You would loose Your heavenly hosts to war on behalf of this family.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage the husband to continue to love his wife as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25 and to pray for her 1 Corinthians 7:12-16. We encourage him to seek godly counsel and to trust in the Lord with all his heart Proverbs 3:5-6.

We're here for you and your friend's daughter, holding her up in prayer. We've been thinking about her situation and wanted to share some more from our hearts.

First, we want her to know that she's not alone. God is with her, every step of the way. He sees her, He knows her heartache, and He cares deeply. We're reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're praying for her to find strength in God. That she would turn to Him, trust in Him, and find her refuge in Him. We're asking God to give her wisdom, courage, and the ability to make choices that honor Him and her family. We're praying that she would find freedom from this manipulative relationship, and that God would protect her from further harm.

For her husband and children, we're asking God to fill them with patience, understanding, and love. We're praying that they would stay strong, that they would trust in God's plan, and that they would be ready to welcome her back with open arms when the time is right.

We're also praying for justice. We're asking God to expose any evil at work here, to protect her from further financial exploitation, and to bring those who have taken advantage of her to account.

Most importantly, we're praying for healing and restoration. We're asking God to mend their broken family, to restore their love and trust in each other, and to bring them back together, stronger than before.

We're praying all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
