Pray for a miracle in my marriage. That hearts will be soften, marriage counseling would be chosen. Bitterness and anger removed. New eyes to see each other. We will look only to God and his truth. Divorce will not be an option.
Father, you instilled the marriage covenant to be a reflection of how Jesus is with His Bride. I ask for hearts to be stirred to righteousness, that they would begin to understand that knowing who they are in Christ is the beginning of walking in freedom from offenses. I ask you to restore intimacy between them, bring to their remembrance what drew them together in the first place. I ask you to give them Your lens in which to see one another, for if both are saved, then it's submitting to God first. A lot of times we view the other person's faults and they view our faults and never the two shall meet. God doesn't look at our faults, Jesus dealt with them, and gave us a new nature, His nature of love. We have to choose to let go of bitterness and anger, as they are tools of the devil to inflict hurt on our souls and God desires that we prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper.
God deposited His love upon your hearts (as Christians, born again) and it is from that life of being a spirit (One with God) that we learn to walk in His love. The fruit of the Spirit is love, and when there is love, joy is there, peace is there, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self control.
One of the things the Lord told me to do is to start speaking my husband is gracious, full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy and he is good to me. And I said, "really?" Those are some of the attributes of God that really, as born again, new nature, is now our attributes. So I did, everyday, not just once, not just twice, but as many times as I thought on him. I started seeing change. I also began to pray, Lord give my husband the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, that his eyes be flooded with light that he might know the hope to which Jesus has called him (and I prayed that for myself). I also declared that our love would abound yet more and more, in knowledge and in all judgment, that we would approve things that are excellent, that we would be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness that are found in Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
thank you Lord that you desire unity and oneness in marriage, love, in Jesus name. amen
I also speak over our marriage, I bless it. As I make our bed, I speak over it blessings of unity, oneness, intimacy, that we are healed, whole, sound. Ask the Lord for His word that you can speak over your marriage.
God bless you.
Shalom
