Pray for a job

Hello, please keep me in your prayers as I was laid off and I recently applied for a new job, today is when they make the hiring decision. Please keep me in your prayers And for God to do his will and provide as he sees fit. Thank you!

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss, but we are encouraged by your faith in God's provision. Remember, God is always working for the good of those who love him, according to his purposes (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who is in need of a job. Lord, you know the circumstances surrounding their layoff, and you have a plan and a purpose in this season. We ask that you would be with them today as the hiring decision is made. If it is your will, open this door of opportunity. If not, give them peace and guide them to the job you have prepared for them. Provide for their needs according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Give them strength and patience in this time of waiting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In this time of uncertainty, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). God knows your needs and he cares for you. Keep your eyes on him and his promises. Also, ensure you are spending time in his presence, reading his word, and communing with him in prayer. It's important to note that God hears our prayers because of Jesus' sacrifice for us. If you haven't already, make sure to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is in his name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

Lastly, be diligent in your job search, while trusting God's timing. Remember, God helps those who help themselves, so continue to apply for jobs and be proactive in your search. We are praying for you and believing that God will provide a job that aligns with his will for your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
