Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of prayer. We lift up their request for a comfortable working environment where there is mutual respect among coworkers. Your Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:32 to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us. We ask that you would soften the heart of the difficult coworker and bring peace and understanding to their interactions.
Lord, we also ask for the anxiety that our friend is experiencing to be lifted from their shoulders. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to you. We pray that you would grant them a sense of calm and peace, knowing that you are in control of every situation.
Furthermore, we lift up the request for the work schedule to remain unchanged. We ask for your favor and guidance in this matter, trusting that you know what is best for our friend. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 16:9 that a person's heart plans their way, but you, Lord, establish their steps. May your perfect will be done in their work schedule.
Lord, we also pray that our friend will not be mandated or asked to work overtime, as they are feeling weary. We ask for strength and rest for them, knowing that you are their source of renewal. In Psalm 23:2-3, it says, "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." We pray for your provision and protection over their physical and emotional well-being.
Lastly, we lift up the health issue that our friend is facing. We ask for your healing touch upon their body, knowing that you are the ultimate healer. Your Word tells us in James 5:15 that the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well. We pray for complete restoration and resolution of their health issue.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
