Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of hope and trust in Your divine plan. Lord, we lift up this Christian man and his elderly mother to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her health. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We ask that You bring comfort and strength to this family, and that Your healing power be evident in their lives.
Father, we also bring forth this request for a potential friendship or relationship. We pray that if it is Your will, You will help them connect and build a relationship that honors You. Guide them both to be healed from their pasts, as You have promised in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it springs out. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
Lord, we ask that this man has a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and seeks You daily. May he find refuge and strength in Your Word, as it is written in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." If he struggles with any addictions, we pray for complete recovery and freedom, for You have said in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We also ask for encouragement and guidance for this prayer requestor. Lead and direct their steps, Lord, as they seek a Christian husband who is right for them. We trust in Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
