Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Marte and her prayer request for a beautiful holiday with her ex-husband and daughter. Lord, we ask that you would pour out your grace and peace upon their time together. We pray that you would soften their hearts and help them to let go of any bitterness or resentment. May your love and forgiveness flow through them, enabling them to treat one another with kindness and respect.
Lord, if there is hope for reconciliation between Marte and her ex-husband, we pray that you would make a way for it to happen. You are the God of restoration and healing, and nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would mend any brokenness in their relationship and bring about reconciliation according to your perfect will.
In your Word, you remind us in Matthew 19:6 that what you have joined together, no one should separate. We pray for your guidance and wisdom in their interactions, that they may seek your will and follow your leading. Help them to communicate effectively and to find common ground for the sake of their daughter.
Lord, we also pray for their daughter during this holiday season. May she experience the love and unity of her parents, even if they are no longer together. Surround her with your peace and protection, and may she be a witness to the power of forgiveness and reconciliation.
We commit this prayer request into your hands, trusting in your faithfulness and believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Marte, her ex-husband, and their daughter have a holiday filled with love, joy, and harmony. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
