We understand your struggle with a toxic coworker and we want to lift this situation up in prayer with you. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's help, but we want to remind you that it's important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In dealing with toxic individuals, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We should pray for this coworker, that God may soften her heart and bring her to a place of conviction and repentance. As Jesus taught us, we are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this difficult situation. Lord, You know the struggles that our dear brother/sister is facing with this toxic coworker. We ask that You would convict this coworker's heart and bring her to a place of repentance. Change her heart, Lord, and remove the toxicity from her life. We also ask that You would protect and strengthen the one who is being affected by this toxic behavior. Give them the grace to forgive, the wisdom to handle the situation, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust that You are in control of this situation and that You will work all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is sovereign and He can turn even the most difficult situations around for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him and continue to seek His will in this situation. In the meantime, be a light in the darkness, showing the love of Christ even to those who may be difficult to love.
