We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing such difficulties, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. First, let's address the core issue: the battle is spiritual, and the enemy is not flesh and blood. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We need to put on the whole armor of God so that we can stand against the wiles of the devil. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. We know that you have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control. We remind you of your promise in Psalm 91, WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' We resist the devil and command these spirits of witchcraft to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for healing and restoration, for the mind and body of our brother/sister. We claim your promises in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB, "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. We ask for your divine protection and healing over their life.
Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened, that they may stand firm in their identity in Christ Jesus. We pray for their knowledge in the truth of your word and our authority in Jesus Christ in 1 John 4:4 WEB, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, and keep resisting the devil and his attacks. Remember, God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. He always provides a way of escape. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep fighting the good fight of faith.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always end your prayers "in Jesus' name" or a similar closing. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
