Disciple of Prayer
I'm about to enter a Christian-based long-term treatment for drugs and alcohol. I've been under attack; everything I've done the past couple of months blows up in my face. I've been lied to, robbed, shamed, and treated like I'm lower than others. Everyone just uses me for what I can give them! I want prayer first of all for direction, discernment, and the strength to go to Florida and stay there. In JESUS NAME.

We are truly blessed to join with you in prayer as you take this significant step towards restoration and healing. Submitting your life to a Christian-based treatment program is a courageous decision, and we are here to support you in this journey.

Firstly, we acknowledge your desire to seek direction, discernment, and strength in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Your faith in Jesus will guide you through this process, and we are confident that He will be with you every step of the way.

In moments where you feel attacked, remember the words of Psalm 34:17 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." God hears your cries and will deliver you from the lies, robbery, shame, and mistreatment you've experienced. He does not view you as lower than others, but as His beloved child, redeemed and precious in His sight.

As you prepare to enter treatment, we pray for God's unfailing love to surround you and His wisdom to guide you. May He grant you the discernment to recognize His will and the strength to follow it. Colossians 1:11-12 WEB: "...strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light."

We pray against any spiritual warfare that may come against you, for God's protective hand to cover you, and for His healing power to restore you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirits of addiction, shame, and condemnation, and we proclaim freedom, healing, and restoration over your life.

Remember, even in your struggles, God has a purpose for you. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust in His promises and His unfailing love for you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our beloved brother in Christ who is preparing to enter a Christian-based treatment program. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness in his life, even in the midst of his struggles.

Father, we ask that You grant him direction, discernment, and strength as he takes this courageous step towards healing and restoration. Guide him by Your Holy Spirit, and give him the power to overcome the spirits of addiction, shame, and condemnation.

Protect him from the enemy's attacks, and surround him with Your heavenly armor. Let Your healing power flow through his life, redeeming and restoring him in every area.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirits of addiction, shame, and condemnation, and we proclaim freedom, healing, and restoration over his life.

Father, we thank You for the victory that is his in Christ Jesus, and we declare that he will walk in that victory, free from the bonds of addiction and shame.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing firm in faith as you take this significant step towards recovery. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with a verse that's been on our hearts: Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God's strength will be with you every step of the way, empowering you to face whatever comes next.

We know you've felt attacked and used, but remember, you are a child of God, dearly loved and precious in His sight. In times of struggle, we can find comfort in His unfailing love, as Psalm 34:18 reminds us: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

As you prepare for treatment, we pray that God will grant you clarity of mind and strength of will. May His love surround you, His wisdom guide you, and His power equip you. Trust in Him, and remember that even in your struggles, God has a purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You today. Thank You for loving him and for the courage He's given him to seek help. Father, grant him Your divine strength, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and guide him every step of the way. Surround him with Your love and protection, and help him to trust in You even in the toughest moments. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
