Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of praise and thanksgiving. We want to lift up our voices and give thanks to You, our Lord, for hearing the petitions of Your children. We are grateful for Your faithfulness and love towards us.
As we reflect on Your model prayer, we are reminded of the importance of worship and praise in our prayer life. You are worthy of all honor and glory, and we exalt Your holy name. "Hallowed be thy name" .
We thank You for the privilege of prayer, for the opportunity to come before Your throne and present our requests. We are grateful that You invite us to seek Your kingdom first and trust in Your will. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done" .
Lord, we acknowledge that true happiness is found in a right relationship with You. Help us to delight ourselves in You, knowing that You will give us the desires of our hearts . May our prayers be filled with gratitude and a deep longing to be more like Jesus.
We pray for the benefit of the Church, that the wheels of all machinery for extending the gospel may be oiled by prayer. May we, as Your people, be faithful intercessors, lifting up the needs of the church and the world.
We also lift up our ministers and leaders, Lord. Grant them wisdom and strength as they serve Your people. May they be supported by a congregation that fervently prays, for we know that prayer is a true helper to ministers.
Lastly, we recognize the importance of thankfulness in our prayers. Help us to always approach You with a heart of gratitude, knowing that You are the source of all blessings. May our requests be made known to You with thanksgiving .
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
