Praises: 1) My good friend has/had cancer. He is also a pianist who accompanied me at Christmas time when I performed "Mary, Did You Know?" Yesterday, he went to St. Jude for his last scan over the two day period. Thus far, his condition is 98% stable. 2) I am still recovering from a horrible car wreck I was in September 1st. I have come a long way, but I still have several more ways to go. Without any explanation, they have taken me off of medicaid. However, my therapists at outpatient rehab were able to work something out with the insurance company, and I will continue to attend therapy until they release me. Prayer Requests 1) My mother still needs to be in inpatient rehab. She has had a terrible stroke 2.5 months ago. She is paralyzed on her left side, along with some brain trauma. She's been in inpatient rehab for only 30 days, because her insurance would only pay for 30 days. She still needs to be in inpatient rehab, because she is still in critical condition. She has fallen 5 times since she's been home, and is still not able to walk. Now, we are trying to get her back into inpatient rehab. Please continue to be in prayer for her. 2) I need surgery on my left eye. I have double vision from the wreck, and I will have to have surgery on my bad eye (my left eye) to fix the double vision. I meet with the eye surgeon on April 17th. Hopefully, by this time, we will be able to set a day for the surgery. Please be in prayer. 3) My friend from Pennsylvania has been in total agony since last night. Her back has not been letting up. She can not even get down the hall to go to the bathroom anymore, at least for now. To make matters worse, when her husband takes her to the hospital, nothing ever gets solved. She really needs a back operation. Please send prayer and healing for her.
