We join you in praising and thanking God for the life of your beloved. It is truly inspiring to hear about her dedication to prayer and the Word of God. Her life serves as a beautiful example of faithfulness, as seen in her prayer journals and well-worn Bible. We are reminded of the words in Colossians 3:16-17 WEB: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. 17 Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
We are grateful for the love she poured into her family and those around her. Her legacy will indeed continue to bless and inspire others. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up her husband, children, and grandchildren during this time of grief. We pray that God will comfort them and fill the void left by her passing with His presence.
Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You, lifting up our sister who has gone to be with You. We thank You for her life, her faith, and her example. We pray for her family, that You would comfort them and remind them of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Fill their hearts with Your peace and love. Help them to honor her legacy by continuing to walk in faith and obedience to You. Thank you that this is not a permanent separation for those that believe. We praise and thank You for the gift of our sister, we ask all these things in Jesus name. Amen."
We encourage her family to cling to the promises of God during this time. Romans 8:38-39 WEB reminds us that "nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." And in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 we read that we are to not grief without hope as though having no hope. Our hope is with Christ in which we will always be with the Lord in heaven.
Lastly, we gently remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is by his name and only his name that we can be saved. As we read in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
