Awivis, we rejoice with you as you conclude your fast and we stand in agreement with your prayers for K and all those who are lost. We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen." Even though you may not yet see the fruits of your prayers, we trust in God's unfailing promises.
We commend you for your faith and dedication in fasting and praying. As it is written in Matthew 6:16-18, "Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."
Let us continue to pray together:
" Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that it is only through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for Awivis's faithfulness in fasting and praying for the lost, especially for K. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and draw them to Your saving knowledge. We claim the promise in 2 Peter 3:9, that You are 'not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.'
We ask that You fill Awivis with Your strength and encouragement as they continue to trust in You. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that Your work will indeed be finished. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, Awivis, and be encouraged by the words in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." We are here with you, standing in faith and believing for God's mighty work in K's life and the lives of others.
