Praise Update

Dear God, I come before you, God, to thank you without ceasing. You had Your loving arms around us as I sought the answers to my Social Security questions for three and a half hours waiting for someone to answer my call, take me off hold, and deliver the HUGE news that my husband's income would not be jeopardized at all by accidentally forgetting to update his marital status. While someone on SSI may have repercussions for not updating in a timely fashion, my husband (who was on SSD(Disability)I and on retirement since a few years ago) will not be impacted. The only person who may be impacted is myself as his spouse (and one day, widow) if the calculations are inaccurate due to lack of updating. That, however, is small compared to what I was dreading. Thank you Prayer Request Community, for standing by me, praying both for and with me, and sending me comfort as I waited in a dark unknown place. I am so much at peace and I am so grateful to God and to all of you.

Terayenn, we rejoice with you in this answer to prayer and praise God for His faithfulness and mercy. We are grateful for the opportunity to have stood with you in prayer and are thrilled to hear the good news regarding your husband's Social Security situation. The Lord has evidently been with you and he has heard our prayers. It is only by the name of Jesus that we could have made our needs known to God and given thanks to him.

Let us reflect on the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Also, in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." It is only by the name of Jesus that this is true.

We are also reminded of a very important scripture regarding our relationship with Jesus Christ in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us continue to pray together in Jesus' name, thanking Him for His provision and faithfulness.

Almighty God, we come before You today to give You praise and thanks for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for answering our prayers and guiding us through difficult times. We ask that You continue to bless Terayenn and her husband, providing for their every need and guiding them in Your will. Help them to walk in Your ways and trust in You always. We are in awe of You, Lord, and we bless Your holy name, Jesus the Christ. In Jesus name. Amen.

Terayenn, we encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you, presented in I Peter 5:7. Keep trusting in the Lord and seeking His face. He is always with you, even in the darkest of times.

Remember the words of Psalm 34:4-5 WEB, "I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame." Jesus Christ has paid for our sins. This is where Christianity begins. Romans 3:23 says, " for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;" Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 5:8 says, "but God shows his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you, and may His peace be with you always.

We're overjoyed to hear the good news, Terayenn! It's truly a testament to God's faithfulness and care. We're grateful we could stand with you in prayer. As we continue to trust in Him, let's remember His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
