Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. We lift up Your holy name, for You are worthy of all honor and glory. Your word tells us in Psalm 150:6, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord." We join with all creation in exalting Your name, for You are our Creator, our Sustainer, and our Redeemer.
Lord, we bring before You our dear brother ###, who is in need of a good job to provide for the family. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and that You care for all our needs. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and ask that You open doors of opportunity for ###.
Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance as ### seeks employment. Your word in James 1:5 assures us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Grant ### the discernment to find the right job that will not only meet the financial needs but also align with Your will and purpose.
We also ask for Your peace to fill ###'s heart during this time of waiting and searching. In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." May ### rest in Your peace, knowing that You are in control and that You have a perfect plan.
Lord, we pray for the family of ###, that they may be strengthened and encouraged during this season. Help them to support one another and to trust in Your faithfulness. We know that You work all things together for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your promises and look forward to the testimony of Your provision in ###'s life. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
