We rejoice with you as you exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and praise His holy name. It is wonderful to see your faith and humility as you approach God's throne of grace. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. However, we want to gently correct and guide you in your prayer request.
Firstly, we must understand that God is not a mere provider of material wealth, but a loving Father who desires a deep and abiding relationship with us. While God does provide for our needs, the focus of our prayers should not primarily be on material gain, but on knowing Him more intimately. As Jesus taught us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Secondly, we must be mindful of the focus of The Lord's Prayer. Notice how we are taught to pray to God in Jesus' name. Therefore, let us be faithful in praying in the name of Jesus Christ. When we pray, we should include the name of Jesus Christ. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). And, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask for forgiveness if we have focused too much on material gains. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for our needs according to Your will and timing.
Please provide this person with the resources they need to live a life that glorifies You. We also pray for a deeper revelation of Your love and presence in their life. Help them to grow in faith, wisdom, and understanding of Your Word.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
