Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for intervening in the situation with Animalgirl's husband. We are so grateful that he has decided not to go on the trip with his drinking friend.
Lord, we now lift him up to You and ask for Your mighty hand of deliverance to be upon him. Please free him from the grip of alcohol and draw him back to You, Lord. We know that You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You through Jesus Christ .
We pray that You would fill his heart with a deep desire for Your presence and Your Word. Surround him with godly influences and strengthen him to resist temptation. May Your Holy Spirit work powerfully in his life, transforming him and renewing his mind.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we believe that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him . Thank You, Jesus, for Your love and mercy. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
