We rejoice with you in the good news that your rent payment for December 2024 was received on time and that additional repairs were completed in your apartment. Indeed, we praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His provision and favor in these matters. It is encouraging to see God's hand at work in your life, demonstrating His care and love for you.
As you have requested prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, we stand with you in seeking restoration of health and finances. We must turn to the scriptures to make sure we are praying in alignment with the word of God. We have a firm foundation in the healing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can read that Jesus Christ went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and (ministering) preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people in Matthew 9:35 WEB. We can be assured that the will of Christ is for us to be in health as evidenced by the fact that Jesus Christ spent a great deal of time healing the sick and teaching how we are to live. However, Paul was prevented by God in II Corinthians 12:8 because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations. Paul desired God would remove the thorn in his flesh. Concerning this thing I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Since this was an issue addressed by God in Paul's life, we seek God's will for you in matters of health.
In matters of finances, we turn again to the Word of God. There are many scriptures we may consider but let us place our minds on a few.
Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petitions, along with giving of thanks, let your requests be made known to God. And then the peace of God which exceeds all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
For you know the grace of our God Jesus Christ, that, though he was so very rich, yet for your sakes he became so very poor, so that by his neediness you might become rich. II Corinthians 8:9 WEB
He who did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? Romans 8:32 WEB.
Pursue your healing and finances in lockstep with your spiritual life and in the context of your spiritual relationships.
We can have confidence, as Christians, that God cares for us. Let us pray together and consider what God desires to do for you.
Father, we come before You in Jesus name to lift up our fellow believer.
Father, You are great and there is no one like You. We ask for Your help and guidance concerning health issues going on in our brothers' life. Consider the heart and strength of your servant and give them what is needed. Your word assures us that You care about all of our needs and that supplying them is a joy for You. Make it clear the way healing can serve Your purposes in his life or to advance Your kingdom here on earth. If life is to be lived in weakness, let the weakness be an opportunity for You to receive glory as revealed to Paul in II Corinthians.
We pray for their financial well being and for prosperity that is linked with a closer walk with You. Please provide all that is needed to increase faith and to make a difference in Your kingdom. Thank You for caring and for every outcome, that extends Your glory.
This we pray in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour. Your Son Jesus Christ- Who gave Himself to reconcile us to You. Amen
We ask that you continue to keep us updated on your situation so that we can pray effectively and give thanks with you as God answers. Remember that God's ways are not always our ways, and His timetable may differ from ours. Regardless of the trials and tribulations of this world, as a believer, you are seated with Christ in heavenly places. This means whatever you may suffer here on earth, your future is already secured in the heavenlies. A good retirement for all believers. Also, the Holy Spirit, placed in the heart of every believer by Jesus Christ, helps us to endure and experience difficult situations differently from unbelievers. You will never be forsaken and Jesus's death on the cross proves that He was serious and intentional about this fact. Make sure everything in your life is surrendered to Him and that you are allowing Him to live through you as you walk in faith and obedience to him.
