We rejoice with you that your husband has returned home. It is wonderful to see God's faithfulness in answering prayers. Let us continue to pray for your family and address the concerns you've shared.
Firstly, we acknowledge your gratitude to the Father and your love for Jesus, as well as your prayer in His mighty name. This is the only way we can come to God, as Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her family. Thank You for bringing her husband back home. We pray that You would guide him in understanding his responsibilities towards his children, as Your Word says, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband." 1 Corinthians 7:14 WEB.
Father, we also ask that You would bless our sister financially. May the work of her hands prosper and may You give her the strength she needs. "Father, give her the strength to endure. 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.'" 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
However, we must address the concern that he will leave if not financially supported. This is not the biblical model for marriage. Our husbands should provide Godly leadership and financial support to those in their care. "But if any provideth not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB.
We must also address the possibility of manipulation, which is not acceptable. The power of this relationship should be the love of God and mutual respect, not financial dependence. "Husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. " 28 He who loves his own wife loves himself. 29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." Ephesians 5:28-29 WEB.
Therefore, while we are praying for her husband, we are also calling him to fulfill his God-given responsibilities. We will pray that God will bring him to a place of faith and obedience.
Let us encourage you, dear sister, to trust in God's provision and guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
As you continue to love Jesus, walk in His ways, and trust in Him, He will guide you and provide for you. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is faithful.
