We rejoice with you, Saraha, in the good news that you have received and we give all the glory to God. It is wonderful to see how God provides for His children. As a group, we joined with you in thanksgiving for this blessing. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB
We stand with you in prayer for your brother's healing. It is our heartfelt cry that God would touch his body and rid him of this respiratory infection. We pray that the antibiotics would be effective and that God would strengthen his immune system. We remember the words of the psalmist, Bless Yahweh, my soul; And all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless Yahweh, my soul, and forget none of his benefits who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; Psalm 103:1-4 WEB.
As for the upcoming snow and ice storm, we pray that God would calm the storm and turn the snow and ice into rain. We ask that He would protect your area and all those who live there, keeping them safe from any harm. Jesus said,
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Matthew 7:7-11 WEB.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. He is a loving Father who delights in giving good gifts to His children. We pray that you would see His hand at work in your life and that you would be filled with His peace.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Saraha, her brother, and their community to You. Lord, we thank You for the good news that Saraha has received and we ask that You would continue to provide for her and her husband. We pray for Your healing touch upon Saraha's brother. Lord, rid his body of this infection and strengthen him. We ask that You would calm the storm and turn the snow and ice into rain. Protect their community and keep them safe from any harm. Help them to see Your hand at work in their lives and to be filled with Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
