Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, giving thanks and praise for the answered prayer of protection for our anonymous friend during their journey on public transport. We rejoice in Your faithfulness and the divine protection You have provided.
Lord, we acknowledge that in these unprecedented times, the world can be filled with fear and uncertainty. But Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to You. We thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which guards our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
We lift up all those who are facing increasing crime and random attacks, especially those who rely on public transportation. We ask for Your continued protection over them, Lord. Your Word in 1 Chronicles 4:10 and Matthew 6:13 teaches us to pray for deliverance from evil. We pray that You would keep them from evil and guard them against any harm or danger.
We also pray for all of us, Lord, that we may not live in fear but in faith, knowing that You are with us always. Help us to trust in Your unfailing love and to find comfort in Your presence. Your Word in Exodus 33:15 reminds us that if Your presence does not go with us, we should not go. So, Lord, we ask that You go before us, leading and guiding us in every step we take.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your divine protection and for hearing our prayers. We place our trust in You, knowing that You are our refuge and strength. May Your peace and assurance fill our hearts as we navigate through these challenging times. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen and Amen.
