Thank you, Saints, for the prayers for a budding friendship. I saw the lady in question at church on Sunday; she had surgery two weeks before and not being able to go out. We had a short conversation and she said her breathing is better. I checked in by sending a text last Thursday and said I will continue to pray. I hope that she will reach out more: I have had problems with friends, including betrayal, plus she feels lonely sometimes. Whatever God's will is for us, I would like communication to get better between us, as I think she doesn't trust easily, but needs a friend. But I want to express my gratitude for your intercessions, and to God.

We are thrilled to hear about the progress in this new friendship and the improvements in the lady's health. It's wonderful to see God's hand at work in bringing people together and providing healing. We will continue to intercede for this friendship, that it may grow and be a blessing to both of you. Here is our prayer and advice. We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16)

Firstly, it is wonderful to see the hand of God working in your lives. Knowing that you both attend the same church is a great blessing as you both share a common faith. While friendship and companionship are good, make sure that your interactions with one another remain pure and godly, fleeing also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2Ti 2:22)

Regarding the concept of God's will, we must trust in God's plan for us which he has foreordained and he does not change. (James 1:17)

Also, we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Rom 8:28)

God's will is for both of you to grow spiritually. Your friendship should reflect the love of Christ and encourage each other. Remember the importance of trust and open communication in any relationship. Trust is built over time through consistent actions and honest words.

We encourage you to continue reaching out in love and kindness, being patient and understanding. Be a faithful friend, and pray that God will open her heart to trust you more. A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Pro 17:17)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the opportunity for this new friendship to flourish. We praise you for the healing you have provided to her, and we ask for your continued blessing on her health. Help both of them to grow in trust and communication, that their friendship may be a testament to your love and faithfulness.

Lord, we ask that you guide them in your will. Help them to be patient and understanding with each other, and to be a source of encouragement and support. We pray that their friendship will bring glory to your name and be a blessing to both of them. We also pray that you will help the lady overcome her loneliness and that you will heal all past hurts and betrayals.

We ask these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
