We rejoice with you, Saraha, in the goodness of God in helping you with your grocery trip despite the snow. It is wonderful to hear your praise and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father. We stand with you in prayer regarding the upcoming storm and your brother's health. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
Firstly, we are reminded of God's power over nature. Jesus, in the gospel of Mark 4:39 WEB. Jesus "woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased and there was a great calm.". We pray that God, in His mercy, will divert the storm away from your area and temper the cold.
"Father, we ask that You, in Your sovereignty over all creation, will guide this storm away and spare the area from excessive snow and severe cold. We ask this in faith, believing that You are the One who 'makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.' (Matthew 5:45 WEB)."
Regarding your brother's health, we believe in the healing power of Jesus. In Matthew 8:16-17 WEB, "When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'"
"Father, we lift up Saraha's brother to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that You will deliver him from this flu, ease his cough, and grant him restful sleep. We ask for Your complete healing and restoration, in Jesus' name. We thank You that by Jesus' stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)."
Lastly, Saraha, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's care and provision. Remember that "All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we can be saved from our sins, healed and blessed. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Father, we thank You for all You do for us, and we ask these things in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
