We rejoice with you, Saraha, for the successful trip to the grocery store despite the snowy conditions. It is wonderful to see your faith in God's provision and protection. As Scripture says in Philippians 4:6 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." This is what you have done and we encourage that you continue.
Regarding the upcoming storm, we pray that God will guide it away from your area and/or mitigate its impact. Jesus' words remind us in Matthew 21:22 WEB, "All things whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." We trust in His power over nature, as demonstrated when He calmed the storm in Matthew 8:26 WEB, "He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm."
We lift up your brother in prayer, asking God to heal him completely from the flu. We pray for his cough to ease and for him to sleep well. We stand on the promise of James 5:15 WEB, "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We also commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself instructed in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This is the only way to be heard by God and only way to be saved according to Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and provision. We ask that You guide the upcoming storm away from Saraha's area and mitigate its impact. We lift up Saraha's brother, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. Ease his cough and grant him restful sleep. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
