We join you in praising God for the safe arrival of your family. It is wonderful to see your gratitude and acknowledgment of God's protection over your loved ones. We are reminded of Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Let us continue to pray for your family's safety and well-being. "Therefore, let's also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let's run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith" Hebrews 12:1-2a (WEB).
You mentioned deliverance from evil. We encourage you to put on the full armor of God each day, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB):
*Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.*
As you have rightly acknowledged, it is in Jesus' name that we pray and have authority over evil. Continue to call on His name and trust in His power to deliver you. Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 (WEB), "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We thank You for their safe journey and ask that You continue to surround them with Your hedge of protection. Deliver them from evil, Lord, and help them to walk in Your truth.
Help us all to put on the full armor of God daily, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give us discernment to recognize his attacks and the strength to resist them. Remind us that You have overcome the world and that our victory is in You, Lord Jesus.
Keep our families safe, Lord, and help us to be lights in this dark world. May our families and homes be beacons of Your love and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
