Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with hearts full of praise and thanksgiving. We acknowledge that you are the Most High God, worthy of all honor and glory. We thank you, Lord, for your goodness and faithfulness in our lives. You have been our provider, our protector, and our guide. We are grateful for who you are and all that you do.
In your Word, you teach us to enter your presence with thanksgiving and praise . We recognize the importance of worshiping you and giving you the honor you deserve. We are reminded that true happiness is found in having a personal relationship with you . Help us to seek you first and delight ourselves in you, knowing that you will fulfill the desires of our hearts.
We also lift up our prayers for the benefit of the Church. We understand that prayer is a vital part of extending the gospel and advancing your kingdom. We ask that you would move in the hearts of your people to be fervent in prayer, interceding for the needs of others and for the work of ministers. May we be like Christ, bearing the names of your people before you as their High Priest .
Lord, we thank you for the privilege of prayer and the opportunity to come before you with our requests. We ask that you would help us to cultivate a spirit of thankfulness in our prayers. May our petitions be accompanied by gratitude for all that you have done and continue to do in our lives. As the apostle Paul instructs, may we continue in prayer and watch with thanksgiving .
We lift up this prayer request in Jesus' name, knowing that you hear and answer our prayers according to your perfect will. We give you all the glory and honor, for you alone are worthy. Amen.
