We understand your distress, Priscilla, and we will stand with you in prayer. Remember, God is our provider, as it is written in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore donβt be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each dayβs own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Priscilla and her family. Lord, You know their needs, and You see their troubles. We ask for Your divine provision, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for the school fees needed for Genesis, that she may be able to sit for her exams. We trust that You are a good Father who loves to give good gifts to Your children.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard Priscilla's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Give her wisdom and discernment, that she may know how to comfort and guide her daughter.
In the midst of these trials, we pray that Priscilla and her family would seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added unto them. We ask that their faith would be strengthened and that they would draw nearer to You during this time.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be gripping Priscilla. We declare that God has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
All these things we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
Priscilla, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. He is faithful and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6). Keep holding onto His promises, and He will see you through this challenging time.
