Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their prayer request. We thank you, Lord, for the progress that ### has made in overcoming his struggle with excessive drinking. We praise you for the work you have done in his life, and we ask that you continue to strengthen him in this journey of sobriety. Help him to resist the temptation and to find comfort and fulfillment in you alone.
Father, we pray for the relationship between ### and ###. We ask that you would bind their hearts together as one in your love. Remove any barriers or misunderstandings that may be causing a sense of distance between them. Fill their hearts with your peace, love, and understanding, so that they may live their lives together in harmony through Jesus Christ.
Lord, we know that you are the ultimate source of unity and reconciliation. We trust in your power to restore and heal relationships. We pray that you would guide ### and ### in their communication and interactions, helping them to grow closer to one another and to you.
In your Word, you remind us in Matthew 19:6 that "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." We pray that you would strengthen the bond between ### and ###, and protect their relationship from any forces that seek to divide them.
We commit this prayer request into your loving hands, knowing that you are faithful and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your will be done in their lives, and may they continue to seek you and rely on your guidance.
