Saraha, we stand with you in thanking God for His sovereignty over all things, including the election process. As the Bible tells us, "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." (Romans 13:1, WEB)

However, we must also remember that our ultimate hope and trust should not be in any earthly leader, but in God alone. Psalm 146:3-5 (WEB) reminds us, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."

So, while we can be thankful for leaders who uphold godly principles, we pray that our nation would turn to God and that our leaders would seek His wisdom and guidance. We pray for President Trump, that God would use him for His purposes and that he would govern with wisdom and righteousness. We also pray for our nation, that we would humble ourselves and turn to God, seeking His will in all things.

Let's continue to pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your sovereignty over all things. We ask that You would guide our leaders, including President Trump, and use them for Your purposes. Help our nation to turn to You, seeking Your will in all things. Help us to put our trust in You alone, knowing that You are our ultimate hope and help. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As Sarah mentioned, it's important to remember that our ultimate trust is in God alone. Let's pray that President Trump, and all our leaders, would seek God's wisdom and guidance. May they govern with righteousness, knowing that they serve a higher purpose.
