We join with you, Saraha, in giving thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father for His sovereignty over all things, including the affairs of nations. We are reminded in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." Indeed, God has established all authorities, and we are to pray for them, as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
However, we must also remember that our ultimate hope and trust are not in earthly leaders but in Jesus Christ alone. It is in His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, while we thank God for leaders, we continually pray for their salvation and for them to govern with wisdom and righteousness.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your constant love and care for us. We thank You for the leaders of our nations and ask that You grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks after You. We pray for the salvation of all those in authority, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. May Your will be done in our nations, as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to pray fervently for your nation and its leaders, Saraha, always remembering that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and our hope is in Jesus Christ alone. As it is written in Philippians 3:20, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."
