Praise God 8 Nigerian hostages were freed. Please pray for them and others.

Friends, earlier this month we asked you to pray for 8 Christians who were abducted while traveling on a bus in Kaduna State in northern Nigeria. We are thankful to share that these believers have been freed! No-one is sure why the believers were released, but we praise God for the good news.
It appears that the kidnapping may have been an opportunistic attack by the so-called bandits plaguing northern Nigeria. There is increasing evidence that in some cases there may be collaboration between bandits and the Islamic radical group Boko Haram. Boko Haram has run rampant in northern Nigeria, and its involvement in kidnapping would be a worrying trend for believers in Nigeria.
The constant risk faced by everyone in northern Nigeria makes ministry very hard.

Thank God that these believers were freed and ask Him to heal their hearts and minds as they recover from this ordeal.

Pray a substainable solution to the security issues in northern Nigeria is found quickly.

Pray our partners in Nigeria are encouraged, strengthened and protected as they minister.
